Concentrate Silica with the benefits of Potassium (Foliar Spray)
Silica & Potash™ is designed to boost the cell strength of the plant and assist with flowering and fruiting. Silica is another word for Silicon and, in plants, it is present in amounts equivalent to, or higher than, elements like Calcium, Magnesium or Phosphorus. Experiments show that plants deprived of Silica are structurally weaker, more prone to pest and disease attack, and are more susceptible to heavy metal and salt toxicities among other things. Reactive Silica dissolves in water to form silicic acids which are the forms in which Silica is taken up by plants. Once Silica is incorporated into a cell of a plant it is immobile and cannot be redistributed around the plant, therefore if all tissues are to benefit from its presence, it needs to be in constant supply. Furthermore, assists in the uptake of nitrogen, potassium, zinc, magnesium and other elements. Note – when applying foliar sprays, a mist spray is ideal (the smaller the droplet size the better) and only apply until light run off (from the plant foliage). Always test spray sensitive foliage prior to applying foliar sprays.
APPLICATION FREQUENCY

A maximum of every two (2) weeks. Note silica is highly immobile in the plant, regular applications and full coverage of the plant will assist in ensuring silica is present throughout the plant.
