Humic acid is one of the major components of humic substances, contributing to soil chemical and physical quality. Humic substances are sadly lacking in many soils due to modern agriculture practices. Humates are arguably the single most important input in high production sustainable agriculture. Humic substances make up a large portion of the dark matter in humus and are complex colloidal supramolecular mixtures that have never been separated into pure components. Since the end of the 18th century, humic substances have been designated as either humic acid (pH alkaline), fulvic acid (pH acid) or humin. Humic Plus is a convenient easy way to include humus into many growing applications and to help buffer chemical applications.

Note – when applying foliar sprays, a mist spray is ideal (the smaller the droplet size the better) and only apply until light run off (from the plant foliage). Always test spray sensitive foliage prior to applying foliar sprays.
